HEARING LOSS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (HLAA)

CHICAGO NORTH SHORE CHAPTER

presents:

UNDERSTANDING AUDIOGRAMS

& WHY IT'S SO IMPORTANT

Monday, October 13, 2025

             10 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

North Shore Senior Center, Weber Room

161  Northfield Road,  Northfield

We are pleased to welcome Dr. Kathryn Bialobok, AuD, in Northbrook, who will explain how to read our audiograms which shows the results of our hearing tests. These valuable graphs indicate the type and patterns of our individual hearing loss, and guide the audiologist in determining the best course for our treatment.  We should understand and keep our audiograms after each test to serve as records over time, and they are especially helpful if we move or change practitioners.

We suggest you bring your own audiogram to this program for help in interpreting it.

This free event will be held in the hearing-friendly

Weber Room with live captioning and a hearing loop.

Our meetings are free events open to the public.
